CIVIL WAR MONUMENT DEDICATED OCT. 14, 1868 “East Bloomfield in memory of her sons who died in defense of the Union 1861-5”. Above was the shield and motto of the State of N.Y. and on sides of the different sections: Gettysburg, Petersburg, Wilderness, Cold Harbor, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Peninsular, and Richmond.
